This site isn't about writing, but it is of interest to many writers. Project Gutenberg publishes on the Internet written works in the public domain, including many classics. They ...(yes, I know, this pronoun doesn't agree with project, but I mean "they, all the people involved with PG," so please allow me that license.)... they tend to include old books since newer books are still under copyright.
